Privacy Policy

Island Networking LLC ("we", "us") operates the Instagram account @islandia.ai and a small automation tool, the Islandia Comment Agent, that helps us reply to people who comment on or message that account. This policy explains what that tool handles and what we do with it.
What we receive
- Comments left on our Instagram posts and Reels: the comment text, the commenter's Instagram username and ID, and the time posted.
- Direct messages you send to @islandia.ai: the message text, your Instagram username and ID, and the time sent.
Through Instagram we do not receive your password, your email address, your phone number, your payment details, or your private account data. We only see what Instagram makes available to a business account about people who interact with it.
How we use it
- To reply publicly to a comment and to send you the free guide or information you asked for, for example when you comment a keyword such as "JARVIS".
- To answer follow-up messages. Messages that our automated rules do not recognise are set aside for a person at Island Networking to read and answer.
- To avoid sending anyone duplicate replies, and to review how the tool is working.
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use it to build profiles of you.
If you buy from us
Purchases are handled by Stripe, a payment processor. You enter your payment details on Stripe's checkout page, not on ours, and we never see or store your card number. Stripe gives us the details of your order: your name and email address, the billing details you enter at checkout, what you bought, and the amount and status of the payment. We use these only to deliver what you bought, send you help if you ask for it, handle a refund, and keep the records the law requires. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what it does with your information.
Our guides are delivered through a web page that opens after payment, and we may email you if you contact us for help or a refund. We keep order records for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
If you book a call or send us a note
Booking a call on our website uses Calendly, a scheduling service, shown inside our page. When you pick a time, Calendly collects your name, email address, phone number and your answers to the booking questions, and places the appointment in our calendar. Calendly sets its own cookies when you use the booking widget, and its privacy policy covers what it does with your information. The "send a note" form on our website is delivered to us by FormSubmit, which passes your name, email address and message to our inbox and does not keep them for its own use. We use what you send only to prepare for and hold the call, or to answer your note.
Follow check for offers sent by message
Some offers we send by Instagram message are for followers. When you tap the button in that message, our tool asks Instagram whether your account follows @islandia.ai, and uses only that yes or no to decide whether to send the link now or ask you to follow first. We do not store your follower list.
Where it is stored and for how long
The tool runs on Cloudflare, a cloud hosting provider, and on computers controlled by Island Networking that we use to operate and monitor it. It keeps a short record of which comments and messages it has already answered, including the Instagram usernames and IDs involved, and a log of its activity. We keep these records for no longer than 30 days unless a conversation needs to be kept to follow up on a business inquiry you started. Instagram and Meta separately keep the comments and messages themselves under their own policies.
Who can see it
Only people at Island Networking who operate the account and the tool. Cloudflare processes and stores the tool's records on our behalf as our hosting provider, under its own privacy policy, and we may receive alert emails about the tool's activity at our own business address. We do not give this information to other companies, except where the law requires it. Your comments and replies are visible on Instagram as usual, and messages pass through Meta's platform.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you at any time. See our data deletion instructions, or email islandia@island-networking.com. You can also remove the tool's access to anything linked to your own account in Instagram under Settings → Apps and websites.
Children
Our account and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
